Minco is seeking an experienced Master Planner for our Flexible Circuits production planning department. This is a full time, first shift position at our Fridley, MN location. This individual will coordinate various elements of the planning, scheduling and related supply chain across product groups and the company. This position is responsible for assisting in the overall development, planning and supply chain system; providing technical leadership to operational teams, and overseeing complex product groups.
Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining and carrying out disciplinary actions when necessary.
Assists with developing and implementing an overall planning system for the company, which includes coordinating or providing leadership to connecting supply chain functions, developing metrics, and ensuring the efficient use of resources.
Assists with coordinating and planning various supply chain operations across product groups; would typically have direct responsibility for at least one product group, which includes maintaining inventory levels, forecasting customer needs, developing product forecasts, and planning production shop/order schedules determines appropriate supply chains.
Participates on a variety of cross functional leadership teams to review current operations, processes, and results, develop operating plans and objectives, and serves as a technical resource regarding planning and scheduling requirements.
Assists with determining and transferring knowledge regarding systems, programs, and other informational means to pull and analyze sales forecasts, incoming orders, inventory, production levels, and other areas to meet customer demand.
Provides technical leadership in developing a comprehensive production schedule, capacity limitation, planning bills, and material resource planning requirement for the company.
Interprets and applies department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas and advises or seeks management direction as required.
Develops and interprets a variety of complex data regarding forecasting, scheduling accuracy, pricing, process flow, documentation, inventory management, distribution, and other areas; works across the groups to improve documents, processes, and results across the group or lines.
Coordinates communication and provides assistance or direction to sales, logistics, and customers and ensures operations are integrated to meet customer and product demands for the group or lines.
Oversees the customer order verification process, which includes approving customer expedites, change orders, and large requests; updates planning and scheduling requirements and ensures proper communication occurs.
Develops and builds relationships with customers to improve the integration of products and
services
, facilitate the sharing and analyzing of data, and work on process improvement projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or Business Administration or equivalent education and experience.
6
years of professional supply chain experience, including two years of lead experience.
APICS Certification is preferred.

Applying advanced forecasting and distribution principles and practices;
Utilizing specialized supply chain principles and practices;
Applying production and operational principles and practices;
Analyzing data, metrics, and processes and implementing continuous improvement;
Leading projects and operational initiatives;
Advanced understanding of IFS or related ERP systems;
Applying an advanced understanding of planning, forecasting, and supply chain software;
Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations;
PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and other applicable applications.
