Brooklyn Center Community Schools is seeking a dynamic leader who possesses a deeply held personal belief that children growing up in low-income communities can achieve at high levels. This leader will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to do whatever it takes to deliver on our districts mission and drive relentlessly to achieve exceptional outcomes on behalf of all students. Candidates for this position must believe that the essential purpose of his/her work will be to support and develop leaders, teachers and staff members in order to ensure that outstanding teaching and learning takes place every day in every Brooklyn Center Community School classroom. This will be accomplished by setting and achieving goals, establishing the academic vision, and taking responsibility for ensuring instructional quality and academic performance in all schools. He/ she will set academic goals for student performance across all schools and measure progress toward these goals by ensuring effective implementation of interim assessment and ensuring that results-oriented great teaching is the first focus of every Brooklyn Center Community School.
The successful candidate must demonstrate an exceptional level of self-awareness, humility and integrity. He/ she will have an ability to build relationships marked by trust and respect, and do so with a variety of stakeholders including teachers, school leaders, students, parents, community members, board members, educational assistants, peer districts and donors. This candidate will focus on identifying opportunities to learn and grow for self and others, and will proactively seek to supplement strong knowledge with new ideas and best practices, while making decisions and enabling others to make decisions based on what is best for students.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
