TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking an HR Assistant (Classification) for one of our clients in Minneapolis , MN . Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Primary
Responsibilities:
The position reviews, monitors, and tracks MRP requests for classification related personnel actions (SF-52's) for assigned programs and agencies for accuracy of position data.
Exercises approval authority for actions involving designated standard jobs for assigned program area(s). Identifies and refers to Classification Specialists possible misuse of standard jobs.
Coordinates with the National Finance Center (NFC) on all re-organizations, re-structuring, and re-titling projects. Performs mass realignment actions and monitors movement of positions under the corresponding new organizational structure codes.
Assists the Classification Specialists in performing classification reviews on lower graded positions by analyzing position descriptions, gathering information from organizations, applying appropriate classification guidance/standards, completing the position description cover sheet, and forwarding to the specialist for final approval.
Assists the Classification Specialists in making determinations on appropriate Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) code, financial disclosure code, bargaining unit status (BUS) codes and position sensitivity designations for all actions.
Conducts quality control reviews to assess accuracy of classification determinations of auxiliary factors, including position sensitivity, drug testing, financials disclosure, FLSA coverage, supervisory code and bargaining unit inclusion/exclusion.
Basic Qualifications Required:
Experience and in-depth knowledge the Federal Classification system and analytical skill to apply subjective job criteria to individual position descriptions, knowledge of organizational realignments and the NFC system, knowledge of the basic rules, regulations and policies of OPM, applicable laws, the client, and M&RP; directives, policies, procedures, issuances, etc.
Have knowledge and understanding of the regulations, principles and policies relating to classification and position management, and possess program knowledge of organizations serviced to provide quality service and meet the needs of the programs.
Ability to work with auxiliary classification determinations requires a detailed practical knowledge of the categorization of federal positions with respect to FLSA, drug testing, financial disclosures, etc.
Skill in writing verbal communications to develop internal procedures and guidelines to train staff.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
