Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer.
Composes and type routine correspondence. Sends facsimiles.
Files correspondence and other records.
Answers switchboard telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
Manages schedules for shared office areas, such as boardroom, conference rooms, etc.
Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and conducts visitors to employer or appropriate person.
Arranges travel schedule and reservations.
Maintains supplies for break room; which include cleaning and overall order of the break room area.
Orders office supplies for individual department as instructed.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Must have demonstrated proficiency within Microsoft Word and Excel.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to office customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
