Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Position exists to provide administrative direction, staff supervision, budgetary control, program development, community relations, and evaluation for the Veterans Upward Bound project. In addition, negotiate relationships with veterans and community agencies and organizations, the US Department of Education, Veterans Administration, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Minnesota Department of Education.
Minimum
Qualifications:
A Masters Degree with emphasis in counseling, education, or an academic area.
Experience in counseling or teaching.
Experience in the administration of a program.
Experience working with veterans and their families.
Experience with or knowledge with post-secondary educational institutions.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory position.
Knowledge of or experience with re-integration issues related to TBI and PTSD.
Knowledge of or experience with veterans programs including education and benefits.
Experience with the financial aid process.
Knowledge of career and academic assessments.
Experience in counseling, teaching, administration and supervision is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
