General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Manual Assembly Operator to join our Productions team. The position provides an opportunity to build and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to assemble and install various system solutions that support internal GDAIS operations and client work. Key Responsibilities
The Manual Assembly Operator is responsible for performing a variety of electronic and electromechanical assembly operations. This work includes but is not limited to component installation, hand soldering, washing and baking circuit card assemblies and appling staking and bonding materials. The selected employee makes setup and adjustments, holding tolerances per Operation Sheet instructions and may also be tasked with performing rework once initial assembly is compete. Additionally, the Productions Operator may perform electronic or electromechanical assembly tasks to support development of pre-production projects.

Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers changing business needs.
Stay updated on industry and department regulations and trends to ensure GDAISs services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices.
Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDAIS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.
Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of backend systems operation, and the ability to effectively assemble and rework GDAIS technology.
The Manual Assembly Operator position typically requires advanced soldering skills and certification in the assigned area and a minimum of one year of related work experience.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
