The Welder will work 3rd shift setting up and operating the following welding processes while achieving and maintaining established quality and productivity standards
Gas shielded metallic arc welding (MIG)
Gas shielded tungsten arc welding (TIG)
Resistance welding
Will also perform other operations such as grinding, spatter removal and any other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working conditions include exposure to a varying degree of dust, dirt, sparks, heat, fumes, and noise
Requires standing most of the time, continuous bending, stooping squatting, and lifting
Requires good eyesight
Gloves are mandatory in all areas when handling material
Safety shoes and safety glasses with side shields are required
Required Experience
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
3
months experience welding in related field
12+ months previous welding experience in both set up and operation in resistance welding or MIG welding
Competent in interpreting production orders and method layouts to determine the use of fixtures and proper work procedures
Ability to differentiate between hot, cold rolled, and stainless steels
Ability to proficiently set up and run the following welding processes on a rotating basis:
Gas shielded metallic arc welding (MIG)
Gas shielded tungsten arc welding (TIG)
Resistance welding
Preferred Qualifications
Six months vocational training for welding
