Summary:
Design embedded software for joysticks, control panels and other devices and for manufacturing test and diagnostic software (JoyTool, parameter programmer).
Prepare software release documentation and ensure quality of the release to manufacturing of the product software.
Take ownership of design and deployment challenges brought forward during pre-pilot, pilot and full production stages of project. Ensure software source code and documentation is properly archived.
Redesign existing software in an effort to reduce complexity, improve performance, and to enhance capabilities of products as assigned.
Make recommendations regarding new product or feature opportunities using new or existing software design techniques.
Qualifications:
Embedded firmware engineer with familiarity with object oriented software design techniques and methodologies.
Embedded Firmware Development experience with micro-controllers and peripherals in C/C++.
Knowledge of compilers/assemblers and linkers (8/16 or 32 bit).
Communications
Experience: RS-232/485, CAN - J1939 and/or CAN Open.
Understanding of electrical schematics and component datasheets.
Lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc
Windows Development
Experience: Visual Studio 6.0/.NET. Visual Basic, C++, or C# is a plus.

Additional:
BS degree in Software or Electrical Engineering
7 - 10 years of related experience
Passion and enthusiasm for software development
Self-motivated professional with a desire to improve and build new skill sets
Excellent communication skills, ability to work with others, sound problem solving skills and attention to detail

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
