Our Mortgage team supports the nation's leading originator and servicer of residential mortgages.
Wells Fargo Home Lending's Business Capabilities Development - Document Production team is seeking a Business Systems Consultant 4 (BSC4). This team is responsible, primarily, for document generation and distribution solutions for the Home Lending sales and fulfillment system. This BSC4 position acts as a liaison between the client area, legal and compliance teams, and technical organizations by planning, directing, and conducting the analysis and developing solutions for complex business problems.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert
Serves as subject matter expert on document generation and distribution within the CORE system
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups for business and technical process definition/improvement to modify processes for greater efficiencies
Provides trouble-shooting assistance for production and development issues related to documents/packages
Requirements
Leads, facilitates, and/or participates in pre-work sessions and requirement gathering sessions
Documents business and document package requirements
May develop test cases that align with the business requirements Analysis
Responsible for analysis of data structures, gathering data mapping requirements for business process/system user needs with respect to documents / packages generated by the Document Production team, and preparing technical specifications for data-related changes
Prepares specifications for system and document package changes
Document Development
Responsible for developing and maintaining document generation rules as determined in requirements definition Leadership
Provides status updates for business requirements and assisting in determining project tasks and milestones
Leads, facilitates, and/or participates in internal product and process improvement initiatives
Provides assistance and guidance to less-experienced team members
Preferred locations are posted, however, open to other locations across the U.S.
Basic
Qualifications: 5
years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Very strong facilitation skills
Demonstrated experience in managing or participating in large scale projects
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results driven environment
Proven experience creating detailed requirements from abstract business policies
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
Ability to cultivate and maintain successful and effective business partnerships
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents
Preferred Skills:
Proven knowledge and experience of mortgage sales and origination processes
Strong technical aptitude in data analysis and mapping along with business system analysis skills to define requirements with the business
Proven knowledge and experience of mortgage documents
4 year degree and 5 plus years mortgage-related, business technical experience
Working experience with XML / XSLT
Familiarity/experience with Agile Methodologies and Data Models
Familiarity/experience with application development
Familiarity/experience with data mapping
Proven knowledge and experience of mortgage sales and origination processes
