This position is responsible for performing set-up, operation and routine maintenance of cutting equipment - F.L. Smithe PHP III and PHP II die cutters, Polar 137 EMC guillotine cutter, hydraulic hand press manual die cutters and so forth. Tasks include:
Read instructions from job tickets and set up cutter based on instructions.
Run samples for approval by designated personnel.
Accurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen system.
Complete tasks accurately and timely while ensuring safety, quality and production standards are met.
Maintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance schedule.
Operate or assist on other equipment when workload dictates.
Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Keep immediate work area neat and orderly.
Responsible for training additional crew members as needed.
Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Overtime required as workload dictates.
Skills and Experience
Prior experience as a cutter operator desired.
Mechanical ability.
Self-motivated, good problem solving skills, and detail oriented.
Committed to completing tasks accurately and timely while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Strong communication skills.
Team player.
Familiarwith Monarch/Hagenorsimilar production software systems
Must be dependable and punctual.
Able to succeed with minimal supervision.
Some math skills required; ability to work with a ruler and numbers.
Ability to use hand-truck and/or hand pallet jack and motorized forklifts.
Ability to lift and/or grasp up to 50 pounds.
On feet entire shift
Repetitive bending, twisting, jogging and reaching.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
