Software Development Engineer - UI/UX Focus

Third Wave Systems, a leading provider of CAE analysis software for machining solutions, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Development Team.
This position will work on developing user interfaces for Third Wave Systems machining simulation products.
Software developers in this position use state of the art UI/UX design technologies to deliver unparalleled user experience for TWS customers.
Requirements Must be able to demonstrate and exemplify Third Wave Systems Core Values:
Driven, Takes Pride, Solutions Oriented, Critical Thinker and Collaborative Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Object Oriented Programming concepts and use of design patterns for scalable code architecture.
Proficient in C+
programming.
Python programming experience is a plus.

year(s) of experience developing GUI codes using Qt Experience developing Windows desktop applications.
Experience with mobile development is a plus.
UI/UX design experience is required.
Graphics design experience for creating GUI mock-ups and icons is required.
Experience with Agile development is desired.
Basic understanding of XML format and its benefits.
Prior experience with LiquidXML is desired.
Experience delivering fully flushed out UI features and thinking of all aspects of GUI development.
Not required but nice to have:
Knowledge of machining processes is a plus Experience with cloud platform technologies (AWS and/or Azure) is a plus.
Python programming experience is a plus Experience developing web applications is a plus.
Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Amazon Web Services Architecture C+
(Programming Language) Cloud Platform System Critical Thinking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
