is seeking a Production Works for our first and second shift departments.

Key Responsibilities Follow leadership direction regarding work priorities Read and understand process cards and POs Highlight process cards and purchase orders in accordance with department procedure Utilizes Blasting equipment to finish customer parts in a safe and timely manner Enter all production and non-production time in computer timely Follow instructions on process card and/or PO to carefully package customer parts Understand and meet production rate requirements Complete and initial processing steps on job trackers Continuously monitor each step of production process to ensure quality of parts Responsible for start-up of jobs Communicate with other technicians within department to share needed information throughout workday Responsible for visually monitoring tanks and communicating issues with the Department Manager Properly complete required paperwork Operate a forklift safely throughout workday Keep up to date with required trainings within the LMS system Follow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as needed Maintain quality as a priority, notify leadership immediately with any quality concerns Maintain a clean and organized work environment Other duties as assigned Qualities for success Hand and wrist dexterity:
able to work with hands for entire shift Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and quality Ability to work with basic computer programs Ability to balance workload effectively and stay organized Ability to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructions Ability to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionally Ability to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as needed Able to work overtime as needed Work Environment General Shop environment.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands Lift up to 40 lbs.
regularly and up to 50 lbs.
on occasion Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires Ability to withstand occasional odors and high decibel sounds Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, entry level, for first shift - pay starts at $18.
00 per hour hour for temp to hire.
The hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:
30pm.
We also have a full-time second shift position available--pay starts at $20.
00 per hour for temp to hire, depending on qualifications.
The hours of work are Monday through Thursday 3pm to 1:
30am.
