The role would be on the Recommendations Data Augmentation Team which lies within the Enhance Team within the Digital & Technology Space (DAT).
Our team's purpose is to provide relevant, timely & engaging product recommendations for the customer.

This is where this product role plays a key role because in order to provide the best online recommendations to our customers at the individual level, we need the right data to power the recommendations.
This product manager role will be part of the team that drives development and improvement of datasets and machine learning models to support the online recommendations space.
Project Description:
As a Technical Product Manager CW on the Recommendations Data Augmentation team, you will leverage your unique balance of business, product, and deep technical skills to drive development and improvement of datasets and machine learning models to support the online recommendations space.
You will be actively working with product/business partners, Data engineers, Data Scientists, ML Scientists, ML Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure, and other stakeholders to be the data driving force that prioritizes and helps bring meaningful recommendations to life.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong technical background coupled with a deep understanding of user behavior and data analysis.
They should possess the ability to translate these insights into actionable product strategies that enhance the online recommendation experience for users, driving both engagement and business success.

Product Development and Enhancement:
In close partnership with engineering, lead the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize features and improvements.
Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and iterations based on user feedback, data analysis, and market trends.
Algorithm and Data Analysis:
Utilize data-driven insights to understand user behavior and preferences.
Drive the curation, development, and implementation of a variety of data points to support algorithms for recommendation systems.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize recommendation algorithms, continuously improving the data used to enhance algorithm accuracy and relevance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Have strong interest in machine learning and ability to collaborate with data and applied machine learning scientists.
Possess excellent communication skills to be able to communicate product requirements, updates, and roadmap with peers and stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering, personalization, applied machine learning, and other teams to align on product goals and drive cohesive execution.
User Experience Optimization:
Focus on enhancing the user experience by delivering the best data to provide personalized and relevant recommendations.
Conduct A/B testing and user research to optimize data used in recommendation algorithms.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor KPIs and metrics related to recommendation systems, iterating and optimizing based on performance data.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance data performance and user engagement.
Basic Qualifications Proven experience (3 years) in technical product management, preferably in online recommendation systems or related fields.
Strong understanding of recommendation algorithms, machine learning, and data analysis.
Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies to derive actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Operations Research or related) or equivalent experience.
Prior experience managing/tracking agile development over JIRA boards.
Ability to effectively communicate deep technical information to a wide spectrum of cross-functional teams and leadership.

Qualifications:
BA or Master's degree 2
years' experience working with machine learning engineers, scientists, data engineers and technical stakeholders.

years of experience with database languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PG-PL/SQL), version control (Git), data structures and algorithms.
Product management experience in tech industry.

years of related experience Experience leading ML product design and development over Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
