3K a year Named for the bird, Starling, the restaurant will draw inspiration from its global migratory nature and symbol of vitality.
Embracing the community, Starling aims to provide Edina with a neighborhood eatery.
Starling will serve a cross-continental menu of dishes influenced by the Americas, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Are you passionate about food, beverage, and hospitality? Are you positive, teachable, humble, mature, show initiative, and hold yourself accountable? If the answer is yes THEN WE WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR TEAM! The Host is the first and possibly the most important initial contact with the guest.
The role of the Host is to greet the guest in a friendly and upbeat way, get them to their table as quickly and professionally as possible, and offer a sincere thank you at the end of the guests' experience.
The Host also answers the phones and prepares takeout orders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Here is a general list of responsibilities to give an understanding of what will be done during a shift, but the responsibilities as a member of the restaurant team are not limited to this list.

Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner.
Seat guests as quickly and efficiently as business allows.
Answer telephone in a friendly and upbeat manner within 3 rings.
Gather feedback from guests upon departure.
Help clear and reset tables as needed.
Assist guests with directions to bathrooms.
Keep bathrooms stocked and cleaned throughout shift.
Thank guests as they leave the restaurant.
Anticipate and exceed your guest's expectations.
Keeps Management informed of potential problems.
Work as a team and use positive communication skills at every opportunity.
Clean, stock, and maintain workstation throughout shift.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Restaurant experience preferred but NOT required.
