Production Lead POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Production Lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production staff.
This key position within the production team will ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
POSITION
Responsibilities:
Provide training and assistance to Assemblers:
Ensure work is done in timely, efficient manner, following the Clearfield recognized assembly instructions and techniques.
Review work orders on the computer, prioritize, and assign work duties to team members to best utilize equipment and maximize productivity.
Upon work completion, Close out work orders on the computer system.
Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes Explain detailed instructions on to production assemblers and answer technical questions.
Communicate with other department personnel as necessary to facilitate production.
Support production department areas Work in a close team environment.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards Monitor and document employee attendance and performance Develop and implement production schedules and workflows Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner Perform production assembly tasks Be flexible and prioritize work orders.
Cross train co-workers and subcontract personnel.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Follow procedures, quality guidelines and maintain safety requirements.
Use hand tools, epoxy, and high-quality equipment Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2
years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment Knowledge of production processes and equipment Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Change Management Mindset Lifting forty pounds and extended standing Continuous Improvement Mindset Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work in a fast-paced environment Microsoft Office suite and other related software is preferred COMPENSATION:
