What You'll Do Primary Responsibility:
Manage all warehouse functions, including operations, transportation, personnel and customer service, as directed by Director of Operations.
Essential Functions:
o Develop annual facility budget and ensure group adherence to budget.
o Direct and assign work; set performance objectives and monitor performance of all warehouse departments.
o Manage all warehouse activities, costs, operations and forecasts.
Monitor progress towards goals.
o Provide a safe work environment through personal actions.
Identify any safety concerns, as well as cost saving opportunities.
o Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as all Federal, State and Local OSHA regulations.
o Represent the Company to all warehouse customers.
Secure additional business and maintain positive relationships with customers.
o Ensure that warehouse concerns are heard at corporate level.
Communicates stated Company goals, objectives and direction to warehouse staff.
o Negotiate labor contracts with union representatives.
Responsible for desired change in contracts.
o Affect prevention or reduction of property, liability or personnel loss exposure for the Company.
o Ensure that care, custody and control procedures are in place.
Monitor operational performance.
o Utilize Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) related to planning daily facility requirements; complete CIP monthly reports.
o Promote an open door policy and team environment.
o Support the Company Performance Management Program (PMP).
o Develop/maintain plans for disaster prevention and recovery.
o Other duties as requested.
What Experience You Need Qualifications &
Experience:
o College degree in business, logistics or management plus 5-8 years in warehousing and/or logistics management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o 3 years general supervisory/management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Skilled in planning, staffing, budgeting, and organizing.
o Ability to develop effective relationships, provide leadership, and integrate diverse functions and individuals toward profitability objectives.
o Experienced with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
o Familiar with WMS and RF.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
o Ability to solve complex problems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
