We are looking for a Marketing Director to manage and guide the direction and day to day operations of our marketing department.
The ideal candidate has a solid marketing background and work experience managing a team executing on a variety of marketing projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing.
Our Marketing Director will report directly to the CEO and will oversee internal and external marketing teams.
To be successful in this role you must be highly resourceful, organized and be able to balance managerial tasks while also being willing to jump in and execute on projects.
Finally, a passion for and knowledge of fitness is also critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement cohesive marketing plans to increase brand awareness ? Set current and long-term goals for internal teams ? Manage the day to day operations and projects of the internal marketing team ? Plan, manage and report on the Marketing department's budget ? Set and report daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual marketing KPIS ? Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary ? Run weekly marketing meetings and staff one-on-one meetings ? Manage the team's project management system and make recommendations for improvements ? Work alongside brand manager to ensure marketing initiatives follow brand standards, assist in developing the brand identity ? Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO ? Conduct market analyses to identify challenges and opportunities for growth ? Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events ? Forecast hiring needs for the marketing department and assist in hiring when necessary ? Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives ? Track competitors' activities Requirements:
? Proven work experience in a project management or managerial role ? Relevant experience in the fitness industry or similar highly desired ? Resourceful, can-do attitude ? Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns ? Experience growing and assisting in scaling a brand ? Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords ? Experience hiring and developing a winning in-house marketing team ? Experience with project management software and digital marketing tools and techniques ? Strong leadership skills ? Excellent communications skills ? Strong analytical and project management skills ? Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions ?
