Summary The Marketing Communications Specialist is accountable for the development and execution of initiatives for a diverse set of marketing activities.
Responsibilities include campaign planning and strategy, advertising materials development, print and digital marketing development to include execution and analysis, website content development, research, and analysis preparation to assist with decision making.
This position also serves as the content coordinator for the global website.
The Marketing Communication Specialist will assume accountability and responsibility for special projects assigned by the President and Chief Operating Officer.
This role will begin on-site full time in the Twin Cities, MN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reporting & Data Analytics Ongoing monitoring and report/dashboard configuration, compiling, consolidating, formatting, charting, and summarizing information in reports and presentations using Salesforce.
com reporting, Excel, Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
Marketing, Campaigns and Channel Program Management Contribute to the development and execution of research, planning, campaign briefs, project and lead management, and reporting.
Cross-channel marketing mix development and implementation management, including coordination of processes integrating the following disciplines:
Partnership Marketing Agreement Execution:
Ensuring all marketing elements of partnership agreements are executed for all sales divisions in conjunction with sales managers.
Email Marketing:
Holistic management, triggered messaging workflows and stakeholder correspondence.
Lead the development, execution, and management of email campaigns & strategies to meet strategic goals.
Campaign performance reporting and analysis of campaign optimization.
Social Media:
Develop, implement and manage multiple social media channels, profiles, blog posts and social publishing/engagement processes, partner content syndication/amplification, monitoring and reporting.
Digital Marketing:
Develop, implement and manage varies platforms and related tasks to support marketing and sales programs through PPC Campaigns, Salesforce.
com integrations, email campaigns, nurturing, drip campaigns, workflows, lead scoring, attribution, sales team collaboration, reporting, etc.
Manage and execute ad campaigns across all marketing platforms.
Website Optimization:
Content development/publishing, global SEO/SEM, landing pages and forms, analytics, and integrated programs.
Support ongoing website improvement efforts.
Identify and implement UX enhancements monthly/quarterly as needed.
Oversee website analytics:
lead generation, click-through rates, multi-channel funnel reporting, conversion paths assessing against established KPI & ROI.
Marketing Information:
Researching, analyzing, summarizing data and trends across industry verticals, markets, media, technologies, applications, and customer segments.
Develop, execute and manage ad campaigns across all marketing communication platforms.
Maintain MARCOM calendar to include; global tradeshow schedule and social media calendar.
Content Development/Copywriting Assist the Marketing team with content strategy and editorial planning, writing, development, segmentation, and publishing content across the range of media delivery formats:
Produce copy for a wide range of content including, blog posts, whitepapers, infographics, emails, press releases, digital ads, social posts, and various marketing materials.
Sales Bulletins:
Write, distribute internal sales bulletins.
Public Relations:
Write, distribute releases.
Compile press kits/releases management as necessary.
Experience creating customer personas across channels.
Experience in customer journey mapping.
Collaborate with Visual Content and Communication Specialist to ensure content creation, campaigns and metrics fuel inbound strategy.
Maintain a file management system.
Collaborate with Product Designer, Product Manager, and engineering to support product launch and continual improvement efforts.
Work with sales leadership to understand what marketing communication tools are necessary to support the sales process.
Ability to develop content in HTML format.
Company Events and Trade shows Assist in supporting efforts for company events.
(sales meetings, dealer training, etc.
) Manage company trade show marketing elements in conjunction with sales managers.
As assigned, attend industry tradeshow and networking events.
As assigned, support tradeshow activities.
Experience and working knowledge of the following platforms:
WordPress Salesforce Constant Contact Google Analytics Marketing automation process understanding (Pardot) preferred.
