Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for an Accounting Clerk II for our team in Minneapolis, MN!The Accounting Clerk II maintains database by entering customer account information along with other related duties.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard.
Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, or reentering data.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High School degree Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to analyze information.
Familiar with Microsoft Office products and strong data entry skills WHAT WE OFFER:
