Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the testing and deployments of our cutting-edge SaaS platform.
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you are a seasoned engineer working in the quality assurance discipline.
You have a passion ensuring the quality of software for customers through the entire SDLC using your testing and technical skills.
You are passionate about designing, building and enhancing test automation frameworks and tools while simultaneously creating, executing, and debugging automated tests.
Your knowledge around QA process and safe deploys will allow you to enhance and execute automated deploys at speed and recommend improvements to our deployments.
You will use your newly found leadership skills to ensure capabilities developed by your team are of sufficient quality to meet our customer's demands.
Your experience has helped fuel your passion to coach and mentor others in the discipline of quality assurance.

Responsibilities Lead QA practices, processes, and technology improvements Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests or new and existing products/features Own deployments for your team using our in-house CICD Contribute to QA standards, strategies, and processes, observing industry best practices Identify, design, and deliver technical solutions (frameworks, tools) increasing test effectiveness and coverage, while reducing the cost of test execution.
Effective communication with product owners and developers to triage and prioritize issues in your team.
Follow and adhere to the best-practices of software test engineering, Agile methodology, QA practices and processes in the organization.
Own the deliverables such as Test Reports, Test Cases & quality of the code in the module/features you work on and the quality of the product tested Be a part of Prod Support activities and participate in an on-call schedule.
Mentoring other team members in quality assurance and automation concepts Have strong quality analytical ability and able to abstract common problems through online problems and solve them pertinently; Implement metrics, analyze test result s to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners, and influence software quality.
Qualifications Strong proven programming skills in Ruby, Java, and/or Javascript Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field required 5
years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, software engineer or similar role with focus on quality Expert with testing practices, including regression, acceptance, and functional testing Fluency in test frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress Experience using CICD pipeline solutions Experience in team collaboration and development of quality assurance talent Experience in the architecture and creation of automation frameworks, test harnesses and/or QA focused tools As a global organization, Datasite knows that diverse perspectives are essential to our success.
