Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Compensation/Quota Design Analyst to join our sales operations team.
This role will be responsible for analyzing and assist in designing sales compensation plans that align with our company's goals and objectives.
In addition, the Sales Compensation/Quota Design Analyst will work closely with our sales and operations leadership team to ensure that quotas are fair, balanced, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis on our current sales compensation plans to determine their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in designing sales compensation plans that are fair, competitive, and incentivize high performance from our sales team.
Assist in planning, data modeling, and evaluation of Sales Compensation Plans Design and implement quota models for sales teams across the organization Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure quotas are aligned with business goals Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend improvements to quota performance Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company's products and services to ensure accurate quota allocation Partner with sales leadership to communicate quota targets and progress towards meeting those targets Monitor and assess quota effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary Monitor and analyze sales compensation plan performance, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, HR, and legal to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales compensation design and/or quota creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of sales incentive compensation principles and practices.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting and quota setting methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
