PURPOSE:
The Digital Marketing Specialist establishes brand and channel preference, generates revenue, and executes data-driven strategies for Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale.
The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Directors of Marketing, Regional Director of Public Relations and Communications, and local Public Relations and Communications Manager to execute strategies in digital marketing, social media, content development, and online reputation management, and measures success through outcomes supported by analytics and reporting.
Essential Functions:
Social Media and Digital Create curated content with direction from the Director of Public Relations to ensure it amplifies key messages and tells a story consistent with our hotel and Four Seasons brand identity, while managing and monitoring the hotel's presence on Social Media networks (primarily Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) in conjunction with input and support from the Director of Marketing Responsible for guest and community engagement on relevant social media channels Utilize available programs to integrate proper User Generated Content Manage on-line and social reputation for Hotel and Restaurants, manage content and implementation for all (integrated) social media initiatives and web content with PR Agency/Contractor and DOSM Contribute regularly to Corporate social media initiatives, and implement local social media partnerships for cross-promotional opportunities Manage social media analytics, monitoring tools and report results and findings Monitor the hotel's presence (Hotel and Outlets) on all relevant websites, including review sites such as Revinate, Google, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, etc.
in addition to other online communities, ensuring content is accurate and updated according to the Minimum Operating Standards Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer service issues in digital spaces and provide clear social direction to each department at the Hotel, ensuring all conceptual and creative ideas meet objectives and timelines Ensure leads and potential business opportunities are flagged and followed-up on by appropriate individual Ensure all relevant news is disseminated through these networks with channel-appropriate content Initiate conversations and build relationships with digital influencers on a consistent basis Prepare monthly Social Media Report Read industry and social media news and training materials provided by Corporate and/or corporate agencies With direction and assistance from Director of Public Relations, update and maintain property website, app and external booking engines within the corporate standards, and maintain current image library and video footage to maximize media coverage.
Facilitate media requests, interviews, photo shoots, and maintain press clippings and media lists.
Act as web contact for hotel divisions and Corporate Web Team in conjunction with the Director of Marketing Create and coordinate monthly (and as needed) email blasts to local email lists through our Four Seasons programs with input and support from the Director of Public Relations.
Assist with video and photo shoots at the hotel as well as create new, on-brand photography for social media posts as needed Public Relations/Marketing Produce weekly and monthly reports as needed for in-house team, owners, corporate office and DOSM and PR Agency/Contractor Assist with planning and implementing related media coverage and promotions Work with PRD to provide media with relevant hotel news, digital assets and timely pitching opportunities Conduct media and influencer property tours and develop itineraries as needed Manage PR/editorial tracking and create monthly recaps (provided by agency) Attend PR/F&B/Spa marketing meetings as well as other meetings pertinent to promotions Attend hotel promotional events as needed Maintain excellent vendor relationships and supervise projects, particularly graphics, printing, tracking ad schedules and others as needed Perform other tasks or assignments as requested by a member of the management team Create presentation materials for marketing and budget presentations, as well as owners' meetings Assist PRD and DOM as needed Additional Functions Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group sales Proof read all marketing material, including; collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the director of marketing.
Perform various office administration responsibilities including contract development, sales kit preparation, filing, faxing and email Meet all Four Seasons telephone and sales standards, handling client inquiries and basic proposals as needed Assist with all marketing and public relations planning and execution and operation/promotional activities Create e-sales tools as needed using WordPress and/or similar Desired Skills and
Experience:
At least one year of social media and online marketing experience; PR and hospitality experience beneficial Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
Photography / videography experience specific to lifestyle / social media Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set Ability to adapt to the style, tonality and vernacular of the current voice of employee and consumer facing social mediums consistent with the Four Seasons brand identity Excellent attention to detail, organization and customer service skills Ability to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities Have demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media applications Computer savvy with Microsoft Office Motivated to educate and learn the future of social media as it relates to the property About Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Minneapolis Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is an unrivaled expression of luxury.
