Job Description:
As the Product Information Management (PIM) Data Analyst on the Thermo King Aftermarket Product Management Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business unit's product data.
This person will act as the product data gate keeper and be responsible for creating, collecting, structuring, and consolidating data points and product attributes from various business enterprise systems into a single source of truth (PIM) system.
This role will be heavily focused on data research, analysis, creation of attributes, and data cleanup.
This person will also support eCommerce program efforts along with the Digital Channel Manager.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key point of contact for Product Information Management system (PIM) implementation project, including frequent interactions with various stakeholders:
IT, architect, marketing, sales, customer service, engineering, and product management roles within the business unit.
Ensure all product SKU attributes are complete and accurate (will require research, collection, and creation of valuable product data such as product descriptions, dimensions, benefits, etc.
) and perform manual upload of that data into PIM system.
Follow standard work process documentation and create new guidelines as required, utilizing several enterprise systems including the new PIM database.
Creates, reviews, and approves product master change requests to ensure accuracy of data attributes.
Responsible for Data extraction, analysis, mapping, clean up and conversion of data before file upload.
Drive data integrity through data governance, change management, data ownership, and quality assurance.
Support and participate in UAT & ongoing regression testing and composition of user manuals for PIM system.
Assist Digital Channel Manager in development of future roadmap including enhancements to site experience and enrichment of product data.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the Aftermarket team.
Review, consolidation, and organization of photography for product SKUs (to load as images into PIM).
Qualifications:
Knowledge or experience working with Product Information management (PIM) platforms.
3-5 years' experience in data collection and syndication, interfaces, and processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify relationships between various datasets to enable stronger reporting capabilities.
Must exhibit keen attention to detail.
Able to work self-directed and independently.
Work Environment:
This position is remote-eligible, however preference would be onsite or hybrid.
