The Quality Assurance Inspector performs inspection and testing on flexible circuits and assemblies to ensure that product fulfills all customer specifications and quality requirements.
The QA Inspector reports to the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties 1.
Read and interpret specifications and part prints 2.
Understand criteria defined in customer supplied documentation and industry standards 3.
Conduct receiving, in-process and final inspections to approve the product 4.
Perform accurate mechanical, dimensional and visual inspection of components and final product per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements 5.
Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and pin gages 6.
Document inspection results by completing reports and electronic logs 7.
Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required 8.
Communicate non-conformances found with operators 9.
Work with other company personnel to resolve quality concerns 10.
Perform quality work within deadlines without direct supervision 11.
Reliable attendance 12.
Perform other duties as assigned Required Education High School diploma or equivalent Work Experience Preferred Background in manufacturing or inspection of printed circuit boards Training in IPC and/or J-STD Knowledge of inspection tools such as micrometer, calipers, optical comparators and pin gages Required Skills and Abilities Must be able to read, understand and write English Basic computer knowledge Basic math skills Must demonstrate great attention to detail All Flex Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
