Strategy Implementation Consultant, Linking Leaders (Contractor)

Together, African American Leadership Forum (AALF), Coalition of Asian American Leaders (CAAL), LatinoLEAD and the Tiwahe Foundation become Linking Leaders - an initiative created to assess and understand the gaps between leaders of color dedicated to amplifying the voices of their communities and working to increase our collective power to achieve systems change across sectors and the Twin Cities Metro.
The Linking Leaders Initiative also seeks to identify strategies and best practice models to create connections and strengthen linkages amongst leaders of color, leadership networks and programs across sectors.
We are looking for a Strategy Implementation Consultant of Linking Leaders to help amplify these efforts on behalf of and in partnership with the inaugural network of organizations listed above.
This individual will support the growth of our newly determined 2023 priority areas of collective action:
Leadership Development - Solidify our self-determination and power-building framework and tools for BIPOC leaders across organizations.
Advocacy - Increase Linking Leaders' effectiveness across networks to advance common issues of policy that build on each of our organizational and community assets.
Network Building - Embed solidarity as a value and practice into each partner organization's operations, programs, and activities by creating practices and plans for integration.
Strategic Partnerships - Solidify the structure of Linking Leaders to successfully support our short-term and long-term plans.
This leader will be onboarding, overseeing, and advising a cohort of managers and directors representing each organization in the development of foundational infrastructure (i.
e.
systems, process, network creation, and practice).
Who will be drivers in actualizing the mission, work plans, and programming; manage and advance critical projects like Truth-in-History; identify new areas of opportunity in designing programs and outreach; build the new working model and operationalize emerging strategy and plans.
This leader will report to and work in partnership with the executive team that functions similarly to a working Board of Directors, in directing high-level strategy and focusing our efforts on resourcing the work both through fundraising, deepened and expanded partnerships, and empowering our collective network leaders to exemplify the solidarity principles and practices in their own leadership, engagements, and disciplines.

To be successful as the Strategy Implementation Consultant of Linking Leaders, you might be someone withoA proven track record of leading complex strategies and projects, ideally in community organizing, corporate sponsorship, programmatic design, DEIB, leadership development, social work, consulting, change management, etc.
oA developer of frameworks and tools that help assess capacity, skills, and growth areas.
oMulti-year experience applying process improvement methodologiesoAn exceptional project manager, an energetic team player, and clear communicatoroMaster orchestrator of partnerships and collaborative efforts.
oDistinguished ability to lead people through ambiguity and bring clarity and structure to new streams of work.

As Strategy Implementation Consultant of Linking Leaders, you will oOnboarding managers and directors of Linking LeadersoBased on our solidarity framework, create an advocacy framework respective of all partners within Linking Leaders.
oIntegrate our solidarity framework into the organization's internal and external practices, strategies, and culture.
oSupporting communications strategy by providing input on content development, messaging, and engagement efforts.
oDevelopment and management of a project management dashboard supplemented by a monthly memo/report to Linking Leaders Executives.
oThrough collective leadership with Linking Leader's Working Board of Directors, you will collaboratively co-design and implement programs and training for managers & directors of Linking Leaders.
oDetermine best practices in culturally grounded organizing across the organizations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
oMaster's degree and/or 10
years of experience in training, business, or organizational development.
oExperience in or familiarity with system thinking, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
oStrong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
oAble to simplify complex topics so the uninformed end user can understand.
oExcellent project management and leadership skills, including planning, logistics, program management, and scheduling, with a strong attention to detail.
oExperience in coalition building, community organizing, and activation.
oHas a growth mindset with a strong goal orientation and the ability to receive and implement feedback.
oDemonstrated record of working with different cultural groups to successfully implement and/or lobby for common projects or community-centered initiatives.
Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Business Process Improvement Change Management Communication Consulting Content Creation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
