We are a family of 3 (plus our cat, who was our first baby) We are looking for a nanny two days a week for our 1 year old son.
Mom is originally from Iowa and dad is from Minnesota.
We have been married for 7 years! We both work for corporate America, but in our free time, we love to travel! Currently on the weekends we love to take our son to do things like go to the zoo or the aquarium, an apple orchard, or pumpkin patch.
We are a Christian family.
We both love to watch shows like The Office or Parks and Rec when we can and have a good sense of humor! A bit about you:
You are kind, caring, and above all else engaging! Our son loves to be engaged with his caregiver.
It can be by reading, playing outside, or doing a fun craft (he is really into bumblebees!) You have experience working with this age group, and bonus points if you can make more than 10 crafts with a paper plate! We love someone who is creative and can come up with fun things to do while at our home.
We value punctuality and hope that you do too.
One thing that we really value is that when we end our day, the home is picked up from the day's activities.
It helps us to spend quality time together in the evenings! Job Duties:
When you arrive at the home you will jump right in and help with breakfast in the highchair.
After breakfast, our son usually likes to go for a walk or go to the playground to get some fresh air.
You can do a craft, or just dance and be silly! He is usually up for 4 hours in the morning from 8a-12p.
Around 11:
30, you can help him have lunch and then settle into his 2 hours nap.
When he wakes up, he sometimes likes to have a second lunch.
Then you have the remaining 2 hours to play, read, or go outside again if it's nice! Position Highlights:
Guaranteed hours- 16/week
