If this sounds like you, look no further! Minneapolis Event Centers is adding two more venues to its portfolio and has a perfect growth opportunity for YOU! An Assistant Planner is someone who has a deep passion for planning, customer service and catering.
Assistants are problem-solvers with strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Assistants understands that client satisfaction is key, especially with venue planning and catering services.
Must be well-organized and competent in vendor management.
Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates.

The goal is to organize unforgettable weddings that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 8am-5pm.
Tuesdays 11am-8pm.
Occasional Saturdays from 7:
30am-4:
30pm - (schedule would be modified to take off another day during the week).
All hours are to be worked on-site in the Minneapolis office.

Responsibilities:
Answer phones Handles basic service instructions from client meetings and phone calls Help maintain relationships with clients Have great customer service skills with a welcoming demeanor Ability to multi-task in a team environment Being detailed-oriented is a major must Ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs of others along with own's work Provide administrative support to sales staff, management, and planners Place orders for management Serve as CRM administrator, supporting data entry and pulling reports Skills Have a can-do positive attitude Proficient in MS Office Excellent vendor management skill Outstanding communication - written and oral Well-organized with multi-tasking skills Able to handle stress and remain calm Problem-solving ability Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred Must be 18 years to apply Job Type:
