OverviewShuttle Driver provides safe, efficient, and friendly inter-campus transportation service to passengers, utilizing the hospital shuttle system.
ShiftPart Time, Monday - SundayResponsibilitiesProvide courteous service to all passengers utilizing friendly greetings, smiles and professional interaction.
Report for scheduled shift on time and in uniform.
Ensure vehicle interior is clean and free of debris at all times.
Maintain and log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed.
Complete daily vehicle logs each shift accurately.
Report any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately and document on daily log.
Work with supervisor to fuel vehicles without compromising service levels.
Transport passengers to and from campus to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Obey all traffic laws at all times.
Maintain a clean driving record notifying supervisor of any moving violations within 72 hours of citation.
Provide expediting and dispatching support for shuttles, as directed by supervisor.

Part Time, approximately 15-20 hrs.

21 years of age or older.
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement (preferred),Responsible driving record.
DOT Health Card required (company will provide for qualified applicants).
Ability to operate lift accessible vehicles.
High School diploma or equivalent.
High standard of integrity.
Experience delivering quality service in customer/public environment.
Displays a positive attitude, flexibility, initiative and ability to communicate effectively.
Interpersonal Skills:
Remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language.
Previous driving experience a plus.
Physical DemandsAble to sit for extended periods of time (approximately 90% of the workday).
Ability to enter and exit a shuttle vehicle while navigating stairs in a safe manner.
Able to work in all weather conditions:
heat, cold, rain, etc.
