Manufacturing Quality Engineer with Security Clearance
Quality Engineer, Minneapolis, MN (Onsite required) Exciting opportunity to further the advancement of cutting-edge technology that supports some of the top-notch US defense/intelligence services and systems with one of our major defense industry clients.
We are working directly with the hiring manager to fill this temporary (9 month contract).
Compensation range $43-$46.
27 hourly on W2.
(Contracts do not include benefits) Due to being in the US Defense industry there is a requirement for US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
(Sorry no exceptions such as 3rd parties, 1099, education visas etc.
) Quality Engineer needed for all aspects of quality assurance while working with the Integrated Product Teams to collaborate and manage the ongoing production, build and test activities for a diverse range of complex circuit card assemblies and mission computers.
The Quality Engineer will enhance his/her skill set among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
Identifies inspection requirements based on technical documentation Analyzes and dispositions non-conformances Conducts root cause analysis and establishes and implements corrective actions Monitors product and process performance for trends and addresses Implements continual improvement Travel may be requiredIdeal Background:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, ability to work onsite in Bloomington, MN 2 plus years of quality engineering work experience Root Cause / Corrective Action Education in Mechanical and/ or electrical technologiesBig Pluses:
DOD Secret Clearance Education:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
Also requires 2
years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
