This position is a specialized role that is responsible for support in the implementation, execution, development, and maintenance of site-based learning processes, communication, reporting, and documentation.
This position is considered hybrid and will be required to be onsite at our Capella office in downtown, Minneapolis, MN.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Support Site-Based Learning Operations Team with practicum/internship, affiliation agreement, regulatory, and compliance processes.
Manage team email boxes and SharePoint Lists and route inbound communications to appropriate team members.
Assist with Test Kit operations:
manage inventory, pack and unpack test kits, and prepare for shipping to learners or off-site events.
Process registrations and grade changes.
Maintain learner files and tracking documents.
Complete and maintain regular reporting.
Communicate via email, phone, and online platforms with external agencies, stakeholders, learners, and school leadership.
Return all voicemail and email messages within 24 business hours.
Send regular proactive communications to stakeholders, learners, and school leadership.
Help to maintain and update SBL applications and documentation processes in various internal and external systems.
Help to maintain and develop new and review/revise existing resources for learners, site supervisors, and other stakeholders, as needed.
Support and assist accreditation efforts for SBL.
Other essential functions and marginal job functions are subject to modification.

Ability to represent Capella's brand externally with learners, site supervisors, and sites.

Excellent written and verbal communication as evidenced in the use of strong grammar and sentence structure.
Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
Proficient ability in the use of multiple software applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, et cetera, and an understanding of SharePoint.
Naturally inquisitive keeping an eye on process improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
Effectively cope with stressful situations.
Strong mental acuity.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Solid professional oral and written communication skills.
Work
Experience:
1-3 years related experience in an office and/or educational setting with demonstrated skills as defined in job criteria.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 1-year minimum experience in higher education operations or 3 years minimum experience in higher education operations required.
Other:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Access information using a computer.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule including both working from home and on-site.
The selected applicant for this position may be required to work onsite and attend onsite or offsite meetings and events.
Typical office setting.
Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
Must be able to travel 0-10% of time.
Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
