facilities throughout the countryVisit us atThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the physical plantResponsible for all functions required to keep physical facility in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitorsConducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance dutiesFollows established Federal, State, County and City codes and regulations.A High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent is requiredWe prefer at least 2 years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs, general construction knowledge and general maintenance proceduresMust have valid driver's license and good driving recordWith the knowledge to operate a computer and communicate effectively.Additional responsibilities may include managing the preventative and restorative maintenance including repair such as wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, etcPainting, patching drywall, replacing ceiling and floor tiles and minor electrical repairs, replacing lighting and light fixtures, plumbing repairs, reporting, and recording information pertaining to preventative maintenance.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSWe are committed to offering a competitive wage between $20.00-$25.00 per hour for this position based on experience and a comprehensive benefits packageOnce you're a North Ridge employee, refer your friends or family and receive a Referral BonusFT $6,000 and PT $3,000!Benefits available include:
