Duties will include installation, repair and maintenance of automatic irrigation system, landscaping including installing pavers and creating a year-round plant and rock garden, simple masonry work, small engine equipment repair and maintenance, year-round lawn care, seeding bare spots, replacing sod as needed, spring planting, mulching, weeding, pruning of deciduous trees including fruit trees (apple and cherry) and large abundant grapevine, weekly maintenance of small fountain, spring and fall clean-up including cleaning gutters, prepping for winter, snow removal, placement and replacement of heat cables in the roof and back patio as needed, storing outdoor patio equipment.
Indoor pool and jacuzzi maintenance.
Checking chemical levels.
There will be on the job training for pool maintenance.
There will also be some moving of equipment, loading and unloading boxes and/or furniture to storage, and occasional hauling of trash under special circumstances.
Must have reliable transportation and some of your own tools.
Preferably have large lawn mower, aeration machine, weed-cutter, leaf blower, pressurized air for winter preparation of irrigation system , heavy-duty snowblower & small electric snowblower Payment based on experience, skills, available equipment.
Perfect job for an experienced landscaper and handyman who does not want to work full time or a someone who has 5-20 hours per week free to earn some extra cash.
Please be reliable.
Prefer someone who can come 2-3 times per week for 1-5 hours per session.
Work schedule is flexible, but must have a replacement for any absence greater than 1 week.
Would like someone who can work weekends and holidays if they desire.
Otherwise, working during business hours is acceptable.
