Fluid and Thermal Sciences Analyst with Security Clearance

o Working with senior analyst and program engineers to determine program analysis needs and determining the appropriate analysis tools for meeting the needs.
Driving the analysis throughout the entire process, from choosing the appropriate tools and collecting the necessary inputs to performing the simulation on internal computing assets and other computations as needed.
Working with our internal materials group to gather or measure the needed material properties.
Interfacing with analysts at various government sites to discuss and share analysis results.
Providing detailed results and recommendations to the senior analyst and program engineers.
Preparing detailed reports of the analysis process for future use of the analysis groupRequired Education, Experience, & Skillso Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field and 2 years relevant experience or Master's Degree in closely related field.
Demonstrated educational background or experience in fluid / thermal engineering science.
Working familiarity with standard engineering tools such as programming languages (C++, Python) and analysis systems (Matlab).
Ability to solve problems with incomplete input.
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and respectfully work with othersPreferred Education, Experience, & Skillso Master's Degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Familiarity with Ansys tools.
Experience with laboratory testing and instrumentation.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Current Secret Clearance preferredPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$75570 - $128480 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experienceEmployee
