Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership Together with the principal, create and hold the vision for academics that reflect vision, culture, and values of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Collaborate on the development within the Academic department policies that support college and career readiness for all students in a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment Own the development and implementation of key academic systems, including curriculum articulation and review, assessment, and intervention programming Curriculum, Assessment, and Academic Support With the principal, create goals for the Academic department aligned with the Academic Vision and monitor the data for progress toward goals With the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction and the Academic department leads, create the process to review and approve scope and sequence of curriculum that is in line with the Cristo Rey Network curriculum and the objectives of the Academic Vision of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Track school level data for the purpose of data-informed and research-based decision-making to accelerate student learning Instructional Leadership, Teacher Coaching, and Evaluation With the ILT and DOCI, develop professional development for teachers and staff to develop the skills necessary to meet the Academic goals and vision With the principal, oversee the teacher evaluation process, including the instructional framework, timeline and process for evaluations, and performance-based pay initiatives for academic staff Develop professional development for teachers and staff to develop the skills necessary to meet the Academic goals and vision, including facilitating the Instructional Leadership Team with the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction Other duties as required by the position This position requires onsite work in Minneapolis, MN; no remote or hybrid work available.
Requirements Master's degree in Education, Administration or a closely related field.
Minimum of 5 years successful high school teaching experience and 3 or more years' experience in academic leadership.
Prior successful high school teaching experience with traditionally underserved students, including teaching students in need of significant academic support and English language learners.
A proven commitment and capacity to serve and connect with culturally diverse and traditionally under-served students and their families.
Experience conducting informal and formal classroom observations, providing timely and constructive feedback to teachers.
Competency in designing and implementing curricula to serve a heterogeneous student population diverse in culture, religion, and ability, including proficiency using technology to advance teaching and learning.
Strong background in a rigorous, standards-based, college-ready curriculum and best practices in secondary education.
Ability to analyze and utilize data to increase student achievement.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and cultivate a loving, joyful school culture.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and digital fluency skills, specifically MS Office/Google Workspace and school-based technology resources and communication tools, e.

Preferred State of Minnesota teacher's license Multilingual skills; Spanish, Somali, or Vietnamese strongly preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
