The TeamDeloitte s Marketing Excellence team combines the power of Deloitte s brand with the most inspired marketing techniques to produce business results for our clients. We elevate the Deloitte brand and strategic positioning, delivering a cohesive, consistent experience for our clients through an omni-channel approach. The team brings together creative and technology skills, business insights, and industry best practices to develop innovative creative assets that engage our clients. We also execute with agility and measurable performance through best-of-breed solutions, centralization of key information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people, and process.
As a leader on the team, you will:
Develop marketing strategy, drive prioritization of all marketing and communications campaigns, and allocate budgets for the Technology sector.Own overarching core messaging frameworks and develop positioning, messaging, and ROI strategy. Will oversee market analysis (competitive, trends and white space) and make recommendations to sector leadership.Own overall channel strategy specific to the sector to drive growth of the business.Work closely with the National Sector Leader, business sector leaders, client segment leaders, and the Deloitte Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Center in shaping a research, content, and insights agenda aligned to key business issues and client needs.Keep abreast of rapidly evolving industry and sector trends and clients challenges to set the direction for Technology sector strategic marketing plan.Create audience management strategies that prioritize buyer targeting and client journey development.Build external marketplace relationships aligning to priority business issues with national industry associations, trade publishers and third-party event producers to optimize Deloitte s position in the market across channels. Negotiate favorable terms and measure ongoing impact.Collaborate with Public Relations to develop a media strategy, including trade and tier one targeting for the sector.Manage the overall operations of the book of business including planning, activity prioritization, and budgeting.Develop and deliver regular reporting on impact, success stories, and ROI to sector leadership, business leadership, and marketing excellence leadership.Collaborate with marketers aligned to offerings, sectors, and geographies to integrate content and marketing strategies and deliver One Deloitte to our clients.Collaborate with campaign marketers on the successful delivery of sector marketing campaigns that are on-time and on-budget.Manage team members, focused on providing learning and career development opportunities as you partner to serve the business.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to grasp a deep understanding of the Technology sector, its sub-sectors, and its core business service areas, with a focus on the core business issuesAbility to make connections in a highly matrixed environment, with an eye toward integration and collaborationStrong persuasive communication skills; ability to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warrantedHigh level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple, complex priorities must be both flexible and adaptableStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsStrategic and innovative thinkerAbility to work in a virtual environmentAbility to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and assess ROIExecutive presence with a client-centric approach and a demonstrated ability to take initiative
Qualifications:
Required:
12-15 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategy and an omni-channel approachDeep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable resultsPrevious experience in B2B marketing; professional services experience is strongly preferredPrevious experience leading and developing a team of both direct and indirect reportsSuperior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing effortsPrior experience in the Technology sector is a meaningful plusUndergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in MarketingTravel up to 15%Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,700-$221,200

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
