Summary:
To provide support to the Capital Equipment Returns team by using problem-solving skills to help the team receive and properly disposition customer and field service returnsThis role is responsible for creating return authorizations, troubleshooting returns from unknown origins, and managing customer-owned shipments.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Respond to tasks from the Field Service and Technical Assistance teams to create Return Goods Authorizations to return Capital Equipment to the Manufacturing Plant. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify the origin of unknown returns received by the material handling team. Collaborate with other client sites to manage returned inventory. Participate and train in all necessary SAP initiatives and functional training related to expanding job requirements. Participate and train in all necessary GSMS Salesforce initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by submitting continuous improvement ideas and leading small projects to implement the ideas. Communicate and coordinate with Sales Support, Marketing, and Technical Assistance to aid in new product launches, integration, and sales programs. Mange customer owned cycle time by shipping back repaired customer units in a timely fashion and ensuring the timely return of loaner units.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma required - 2-4 year degree preferred. SAP experience required. Business Expertise Applies general business knowledge obtained through education or past experience with guidance from others Leadership No supervisory responsibility; accountable for own contributions and meeting objectives with guidance from more senior level roles/manager May lead small to mid-range continuous improvement projects.
