Position
Summary:
The Facilities Access Assistant provides facility information and safe access assistance to members of the community utilizing PNHS facilities.
Provide or assist with escorting persons of limited mobility to requested destinations.
Wheelchair assistance and walking escorts are included.
Training in wheelchair use and lifting/moving assistance is provided.
Submit written reports on incidents observed or reported for evaluation by Risk Management or the Department of Safety & Security.
Work Schedule:
On-call/Casual, Days.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Ability to interact and communicate verbally.
Able to withstand long periods of walking, standing, and pushing wheelchairs.
Able to withstand various types of weather conditions.
