Due to an increased demand in the
minnesota
Market, we are looking to add a Account Manager to their team. This position will be responsible for maintaining customer service to already existing customers, along with recognizing new business when the opportunity arises. During your initial training for the position, you will work hand in hand with the current account manager and be responsible to successfully complete the training assignments set up for you. Once you have successfully met the goals, you will then transition to taking over the assigned territory. At this time you will then be responsible to manage all aspects of selling and communicating with all types of the customers staff. You will provide technical consulting, train mill operators in all aspects of product safety and Handling, additionally you will schedule and coordinate product shipments, service updates and collection of payments.
Requirements:
-Knowledge of the paper industry, particularly the chemical industry.
-Experience with territory sales, preferably in an industrial setting. Understand territory situation, current accounts, prospects, competitors and suppliers.
-Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written.
-2 to 4 years if college or related work experience, Bachelors Degree required
-Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals and deadlines.
-Ability to negotiate and consult with managers and department personnel
-Proficient with
computer
programs such as EXCEL, Word and PowerPointEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
