Renaissance Learning, a Google invested, leading provider of technology-based school improvement and student assessment programs for K-12 schools, is seeking three Quality Assurance Engineers to join its R&D team in our new downtown Minneapolis location.
As the QA Engineer working in a Scrum Environment, you will test software applications and features using test suites and scripts, perform anomaly reporting, software analysis, develop automated software test packages using various technologies, perform functional and performance testing, apply black box and white box testing techniques and conduct software development data validation functional and performance testing.
Required
Experience:
Prepare test plans, develop test cases and execute tests with a focus on coverage, performance and automation.
Create, update, maintain and execute automation suites and other testing tools as needed for use by QA.
Enhance, maintain existing automation test tools
Investigate bugs using various available tools and server logs
Establish and maintain structured testing methodology, especially around automation.
Respond to inquiries from users and technical support regarding functions and operations of software programs
Identify process improvements, error trends and/or the root causes and make recommendations for remedies to colleagues and management.
Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree preferred; or 5
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
