This position is responsible for understanding our complete data environment through data mining, report generation and forecasting. They will gather and synthesize data and metrics into practical insights or forecasts. This Analyst will also provide the business with statistical support to aid in its decision making. The Analyst will be responsible for investigation into questions raised by the environment or stakeholders. They will perform cross application analytics to explain relationships between the various business functions and teams. Additionally this position will construct and produce automated reporting efficiencies and evaluate the data to determine if formal business process improvement projects need to be undertaken.
Education:
BA/BS (required), undergrad/masters in Statistics/Mathematics preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data mining, statistical analytics, modeling and forecasting.
Minimum 2-3 years hands on experience with SQL
Ecommerce, Chargebacks and Call Center data experience preferred
Java Script other programming languages desired
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Visio
Outstanding analytical skills and ability to synthesize situations for corresponding solutions, options and action plans to impact efficiency, quality, or customer satisfaction
Ability to establish strong partnerships within all levels in the organization while adjusting communications to the specified audience.
Ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, succinct terms (written and verbal) for business and process decisions
Self starter; demonstrates personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibility and ownership
Skilled at working in a constantly changing environment
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience integrating information from a variety of sources, and formatsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
