Job Description:
Endpoint/Desktop Management Subject Matter Expert (SME)
This position requires a SME with a broad skill set including expertise in Windows 7 Deployment processes, Image Development and deployment with MDT and SCCM OSD, design and administration of SCCM (all versions) in a large enterprise, and SCCM based reporting.
The candidate must also have a firm understanding and some experience with desktop Application Packaging and associated processes.
Strength in at least two scripting languages (e.g. VBScript and Powershell) is required.
Day to Day Work:
This is a versatile role providing technical delivery in the End Point Management (Desktop Management) service streams.
The EPM SME must effectively work with other technologists in our teams to execute our service strategies.
This role often will interface with counterparts from our client businesses and our Account Management Teams, as well as with technology team members from our organization.
This candidate will be called upon implement, follow, and enforce our standard Endpoint Management processes during the course of delivering on our outsourcing contract with a major area customer.
The candidate will also serve as a top tier support resource for evaluating and remediating complex technical challenges faced by our client and technology teams.
The End Point Management SME will use advanced expertise administering and configuring SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2) and utilizing it for software, patch, and operating system deployment.
Candidate will also work extensively with MDT in support of the image development and management work including creation of new images, and incorporation of new hardware into existing MDT images.
Knowledge of Windows 7 Deployment Technologies, USMT, and image development, application packaging, and GPO Administration are also key skills.
Finally, a solid familiarity with application packaging processes, roles, responsibilities and ability to deliver packaging services if needed will be important.
Experience with Flexera Admin Studio is desirable.

Technical and Behavioral Skills:
