Summary:
Aon is looking for a system engineer in its Bloomington, MN office. This position will broaden our department's capabilities in the areas of application performance, server setup, maintenance, and strategic infrastructure planning. This person will be leveraged as an infrastructure subject matter expert that will work closely with the development team to implement successful projects. He/she will need advanced experience with web site and web server configuration and will actively collaborate with global support teams for the successful development, deployment, and support of our products. Networking experience and/or troubleshooting skills would be a benefit as well.
Qualifications:
Experience with server configuration: Windows Server 2012/2008/2003
Web server platforms/technology: IIS, ADFS, WCF, WAP
Experience with administrating Windows clients and Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure
Experience in application performance and infrastructure monitoring technology management
Understanding of the Data Center Infrastructure and Data Center Operations
Technical and creative problem solving skills
Initiative to successfully complete projects and promote company advancement
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
Preferred skills:
SAML 2.0, OAuth, PowerShell, TFS
In depth knowledge of production level networking and design
Experience with data center operations and production level infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers, SAN, etc.)
Technical design and documentation experience
