Senior Accounts Payable
Job Purpose:
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for verifying accuracy, coding, and entering invoices into the Accounts Payable System in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Match supplier invoices to purchase order and receipt-record transaction in ERP system.
Identify discrepancies and research variances.
Communicate discrepancies and variances to internal customers.
Identify and communicate recurring problems to Lead.
Handle EDI transactions ensuring smooth flow through ERP system.
Provide follow-up on monthly supplier statements ensuring all invoices referenced are schedule for payment/field vendor inquiries.
Ensure compliance with internal and external controls including IRS, Sarbanes-Oxley and State of Minnesota Sales Tax.
Assist in Accounts Payable and supplier audit projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience
Post high school accounting education desirable.
Experience with Oracle Accounts Payable ERP system desirable.

years related work experience.
Three way matching of electronic invoicing desirable.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies
Strong math skills.
Detail oriented and ability to work well within a deadline driven environment.
Exhibit skills in researching and resolving exception items.
Ability to influence peers and others across organizational boundries.
Perform functions efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
Excel spreadsheet and Word proficiency.
