This position has the flexibility to be located in NY/NJ (preferred) or CA.

About the role
Provides regional support and executes tactical plan related to reimbursement, health economics and costs that drives acceptance of Medical Device products by key hospitals, physicians and local payer organizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Track regional reimbursement methodologies and trends to support strategic and tactical planning.
  • Designs and implements economic research studies for clinical trials that provide economic INDUSTRIES perspective for product portfolio decisions, marketing, product reimbursement strategies and FDA submissions.
  • Compares and evaluates the economic value of products and therapies with the clinical and quality of life outcomes data from clinical trials and/or epidemiology studies.
  • Works closely with sales management and teams to educate key hospitals, physicians, other HCPs on product coding, coverage and reimbursement driving acceptance and utilization.
  • Works closely with product reimbursement to help develop strategies and marketing and pricing programs.
  • Works with clinical research to add health economics endpoints to clinical trials and biostatisticians to analyze and report study results.

What we re looking for:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years' reimbursement and/or market access experience required
  • Must have medical device experience
  • Tenure functioning successfully at Senior Manager level
  • Functions independently
  • Recognizes and raises strategic issues
  • Willing to take on new challenges as they arise and share learnings
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple product responsibilities
  • Thinks strategically with limited oversight
  • Must have experience leading and managing a field/remote team
  • Can lead discussion with commercial payers, senior level administrators
  • Domestic and international travel between 30-80%. Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
