We are seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to help develop a variety of new ASIC devices currently being developed at Micron. As a senior designer, you would be responsible for all aspects of silicon design from initial concepts and architecture development through to lab validation and yield improvement. You should be hard working, dedicated and looking for an opportunity to own the design of custom circuits used in the next generation of ASICs to support Micron memory products.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Establish design requirements and provide architectural overview
  • Provide comparative analysis data and recommend specific architectural options
  • Lead design efforts to define, plan, implement and validate silicon for Micron s next generation of high-speed, mixed-signal ASICs
  • Develop and support state-of-the-art design practices to minimize performance and schedule risk
  • Architect and design circuits for high data-rate ASIC applications
  • Prepare documentation and conduct system and circuit-level design reviews
  • Follow a continuous improvement philosophy to improve design quality and efficiency

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

  • 5
    years as a mixed-signal/analog IC designer.
  • MSEE or greater
  • Experience with complete product life-cycle from concept phase and architectural proposal to failure analysis and yield improvement
  • Practical experience with multi-gigabit CMOS technology
  • Knowledge of fabrication process technology
  • Proficiency with Cadence ASIC design tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to peers in verbal and written form
  • Knowledge of board design standard methodologies
  • Experience in design and operation of latch-up and ESD circuitry and ensuring long-term reliability of the design
  • Previous chip lead experience is a plus
