Staffing Coordinator


Maintain staffing schedules for the nursing department. Provide On Boarding for all new nursing staff. Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientation and training for all licensed nurses Perform payroll functions by processing time cards on a bi-weekly basis using Lawson Kronos E-time. Answer questions and research discrepancies of paychecks. Do historical edits as needed. Determine PPL eligibility Helped implement new staffing software SMARTLINX for the Nursing department. Staffing Supervisor


Managed and prepared 50+ employee schedules. Assist with the full scope of recruitment and efforts from initial sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing, and conducting background checks to offer letters and orientation for assigned positions. Create new hire paperwork flow; ensure accuracy of employee documents are completed timely upon hire. Record management of data entry of new hires, employee disciplines and employee status changes. Ensure records are in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Processed payroll on a weekly basis, distribute checks and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Process monthly billing for clients.


COBRA Administration


Managed 30+ accounts issuing COBRA notices, enrollment notices, late notices, termination notices and HIPAA Certificates. Set up and managed new COBRA accounts as needed. Answered an average of 50 calls throughout the day. Investigated and resolved COBRA problems from clients and participants. Update and terminate COBRA coverage with appropriate insurance vendors and follow up as needed. Provided open enrollment to COBRA participants as well as monthly invoicing and detailed reports to clients. Posted payments and monitored qualified beneficiary's account. Adhere to Federal and State Continuation laws regarding COBRA. Assisted with the implementation of new "COBRA Web" system. Benefit Administration


HRIS Database administration using Lawson Software. Administrated 401(k) rollover approvals, withdrawals, distributions and loan approvals. Import and audit contribution feedback and loan feedback from plan. Research rehires for appropriate vesting credit. Administration of employee benefit programs and conducted annual open enrollment and benefit orientation for new and current employees.
